PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

TEROSON VR 625 provides the following characteristics:

TEROSON VR 625 is used to treat areas of rust of all kinds. Organic agents convert the rust (iron oxides) into a stable complex compound; during this process, the clear, slightly brownish liquid changes through dark blue into brown-black colour. The synthetic resin forms a paint-like protective film when dry. This good sandable protective film with excellent adhesion remains on the metal and may be used as a primer. No additional priming is required.

APPLICATION AREAS

TEROSON VR 625 is suitable for use on all ferrous substrates, such as industrial applications and automotive maintenance / repair. TEROSON VR 625 is not suitable for parts subject to high temperatures such as exhaust systems, stove chimney pipes etc.

TECHNICAL DATA

PRELIMINARY STATEMENT

Prior to application it is necessary to read the Material Safety Data Sheet for information about precautionary measures and safety recommendations. Also, for chemical products exempt from compulsory labeling, the relevant precautions should always be observed.

Pretreatment

The surfaces to be coated with TEROSON VR 625 have to be clean, dry and free of rust, oil, grease, dust and other contamination. Areas not to be coated should be properly covered. Bare sheet steel must always be coated with wash primer prior to coating with TEROSON VR 625.

Application

TEROSON VR 625 is applied by spraying out from aerosol can. Shake can well before use. Keep spray distance of 20-30 cm to the spray area to be treated.
Spray 2 or 3 thin layers "wet in wet" without sagging. Let the layer convert and dry. In case it will be covered by another coating, please sand the layer to improve the adhesion of this next layer.

Practice

The product is touch dry after approx. 20 minutes.
Overnight drying is required for full drying.
The drying time is dependent on temperature and layer thickness. Higher temperatures will increase the cure speed, cold weather and humid environment could prolong the drying time.
The dried coating may be overpainted with most of the industrial and repair paints (after ca. 16 hours).
Application tools should be cleaned with solvents immediately after completion of work.
Any product which has already formed a film will have to be removed mechanically.

P305+P351+P338 IF IN EYES: Rinse cautiously with water for several minutes. Remove contact lenses, if present and easy to do. Continue rinsing.

P410+P412 Protect from sunlight. Do not expose to temperatures exceeding 50°C/122°F.
The solvent contained in the product evaporates during use and its vapors may form an explosive/easily ignitable mixture with air. Solvent vapors are heavier than air and may accumulate at floor level in high concentrations.
