Product Description
Debrasel Alsi 12 is a very hard and strong special filler, also known as cold metal. It can be applied to metals (for example, instead of tinning), as well as to wood. Despite the product’s exceptional hardness, its flake composition ensures a very high degree of flexibility after application. It is resistant to hydrocarbons (petrol, diesel) and certain acids (e.g. battery acid).
Application
Thoroughly mix the contents of the can to achieve a homogeneous consistency. The mixing ratio of hardener is 2%. Carefully clean and degrease the surface where the filler will be applied. For better adhesion, a rougher surface is preferable to a smoother one.
Examples of Use
Car body repairs: restoration of sharp edges, wheel arch repairs, finishing after soldering, corroded parts, for example under window seals, etc.
Utility vehicle repairs: generally for the cabs of utility vehicles, aluminium superstructures, tanks.
Mechanical repairs: cracks in engine blocks and cylinder heads.
Industry: watertight sealing of cracks.
Storage
Store the product away from frost at temperatures between 5 – 30°C, avoid large temperature fluctuations.
