Dinitrol 8510 is a fast-drying acrylic varnish with high coverage and good dimensional and shape stability. The high proportion of pigments guarantees very good resistance to yellowing. The form of delivery in a spray can offers a specialist in the field of motor vehicles, but also a do-it-yourselfer, material that can be processed without any problems. In addition to the field of motor vehicles, Dinitrol 8510 is also universally applicable in industry, household and garden.
Application:
The substrate to be treated must be clean, free of oil, dust and rust. All weathered paints must be removed. Healthy paint residues should be sanded to a matt finish. For absorbent substrates, such as wood, a pore filler should be used first to prevent the binder from penetrating the substrate. A short spray of Dinitrol 8510 is sufficient in most cases to close and insulate the surface of absorbent materials. For non-absorbent substrates, the primer can often be omitted.
Shake the spray can well before use (1-2 min.) - the mixing ball in the spray should have a clear sound - then spray Dinitrol 8510 evenly crosswise on the surface to be treated. For small areas, it can also be sprayed in a circular motion. The spraying distance should be approx. 20-30 cm. With longer spraying, the spray pressure drops. Therefore, it is necessary to shake the can occasionally briefly. The drying time before the spray is non-sticky to the touch is 20-30 minutes, depending on the temperature, air humidity and layer thickness. If we want to achieve a glossier surface, the varnish can be repainted with DINITROL 8550 (clear varnish) immediately after drying.
