CHARACTERISTICS The Etch Primer is suitable for targeted use to touch up factory primers on aluminum bodies. It has the best adhesion properties on all steel, zinc and aluminum substrates. The Etch Primer is characterized by easy processing and quick drying.
AREA OF APPLICATION The Etch Primer can be used as an adhesion primer on all steel, zinc and aluminum substrates for spot and partial painting. Suitable for stripping sanded-through areas and restoring rust protection. The Etch Primer only offers limited adhesion for waterborne basecoats, in which case a 1K or 2K filler should be pre-coated.

PROCESSING All surfaces to be coated must be cleaned and sanded. The damaged area must be free of grease, dust and dry. Clean the damaged area with silicone remover. Shake the can thoroughly for 2 minutes before use. Apply in thin layers.
NOTE Do not overwork with polyester products!!! It is essential to wear a breathing mask when processing!!!
