Dinitrol 520 Cleaner 30ml

Solvent-based cleaning agent for increasing the adhesion of the glued joint during direct glazing of auto glasses. Do not use on the original polyurethane layer!

Characteristics: DINITROL 520 is a cleaning-activating agent based on a solvent and additives with adhesion-promoting properties. DINITROL 520 is the necessary first operation when gluing DINITROL polyurethane and is a condition of the guarantee.

Fields of application:
INITROL 520 is intended for the preparation of direct glazing of cars and structural bonding. It is used to clean and activate the respective surfaces, which will then be treated with the appropriate primer. It is generally used on painted and unpainted surfaces, steel, non-ferrous metals, laminates, plastics, ceramics, wood, etc. DINITROL 520 is also used to revive surfaces that were previously primed with DINITROL 530 and which were not immediately bonded (glass with primer from production, primer applied 48 hours or earlier). DINITROL 520 must not be used on RIM tape or freshly cut polyurethane track.

Application:
DINITROL 520 is mostly applied by the "apply - wipe" system. This means that in the first step, the ceramic surface of the windshield or the relevant part of the structure is painted with a clean cloth - towel soaked in DINITROL 520. The product is left to act for about 1 minute. During the second step, just before complete drying, the remains of DINITROL 520 are wiped from the surface with a clean, dry cloth-towel. If the cloth-towel is dirty after the second step, or there are other doubts, it is better to repeat the whole process. At the end of the activation, the surface is allowed to air out for 5 or more minutes depending on the absorbency (absorbent substrates take longer). Cleanliness and activation of the glued surfaces is a necessary condition for quality gluing!! DINITROL 520 is strongly hygroscopic and must be stored in perfectly closed containers and in a dry environment. Deteriorated by moisture, it is non-functional
